Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy is now open in the Midtown area of Richmond, Virginia. The clinic is conveniently located on the second floor of 5901 W. Broad Street, directly across the street from Wawa. The new facility offers convenient hours, is open to new patients, and accepts most insurance plans. This expansion marks another milestone in the Ivy Rehab Network’s growth, surpassing over 75 locations in Virginia.
Dr. Michael Blair, PT, DPT, CMTPT, CFCE, serves as Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Midtown facility.
“I am honored and committed to being an integral part of expanding Ivy Rehab’s footprint within the beautiful and booming city of Richmond,” said Michael. “I am excited to work closely with Richmond residents to restore individuals of all ages and backgrounds to do the activities they love.”
Michael graduated from JMU in 2011 with a BS in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Michael then attended SUNY Stony Brook University, earning a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014. Michael furthered his clinical education, earning a Level III Dry Needling certification, which allows for using dry needling to supplement various musculoskeletal conditions he treats. Michael is keenly interested in staying up to the physical therapy world’s latest cutting-edge services, such as implementing Blood Flow Restriction Therapy. Michael is also certified in Functional Capacity Evaluations and performs work conditioning programs within the Broad St. location due to its ample gym space.
