Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy has expanded in Illinois and is now serving Aurora. Located behind McDonald’s and next to Walgreens at 405 Eola Road, the Aurora clinic is in network with most insurance, open convenient hours, and is dedicated to providing quality physical therapy care. This new location makes it easier than ever for patients in Aurora and the surrounding community to access care, close to home.
Ricardo Torres, PT, DPT, LMT, serves as the Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Aurora facility.
“Having lived in North Aurora my entire life and been shaped by the experiences and community, it’s been a dream to give back to the place that has raised me,” shared Ricardo. “Opening this clinic allows me the opportunity to make a meaningful impact right at home. I’m excited to work with our neighbors to help them achieve their health goals, improve their quality of life, and stay active in the community we all cherish.”
Ricardo has deep roots in the Aurora community and is a proud graduate of West Aurora High School. He began his healthcare journey at Waubonsee Community College, where he earned his associate’s degree in science and massage therapy certification. Ricardo then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Aurora University and completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Northern Illinois University.
Ricardo is continually learning and evolving as a clinician, with a strong focus on listening to each patient’s story and building a plan that truly fits their goals and lifestyle. His professional experience includes manual therapy, orthopedic conditions, including pre- and post-joint replacement care, chronic pain, sports injuries, and work-related issues.
When he’s not in the clinic, Ricardo enjoys staying active by trying new experiences, exploring different parts of the community, and unwinding with good food and great company.
