Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy in Edison, New Jersey is now open. The clinic is located in the Stop & Shop Plaza at 1071 Inman Avenue. With over 85 locations in New Jersey, the Ivy Rehab Network continues to rapidly expand to serve even more communities.
“We are pleased to announce the opening of our new orthopedic physical therapy clinic for Ivy Rehab in Edison, NJ,” said Judy Alvarez, PT, DPT, Area Director of North Central New Jersey. “We are excited to be a part of this vibrant community and to have Dr. Anakaren Lopez bring her experience and expertise to open our newest clinic.”
Dr. Anakaren Lopez, PT, DPT, CSCS is serving as the Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Edison facility.
Anakaren is strongly committed to clinical excellence. She is currently enrolled in the Ivy Rehab and HSS orthopedic residency program where she plans to become a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). She enjoys working with individuals throughout their lifespan from children with orthopedic conditions to older adults, post-surgical interventions, and post-concussion. She believes in addressing the entire body and mind while incorporating rehabilitative Pilates exercises to further promote individuals’ wellness.
Outside of the clinic, Anakaren enjoys spending time with her family and friends, snowboarding, hiking, paddle boarding, running, traveling, and teaching Pilates
“I am extremely excited to bring high-quality and patient-centered care to Edison and its surrounding communities,” said Anakaren. “Combining my experience as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Pilates instructor has allowed me to further experience the benefit of movement and what it can do to increase one’s quality of life. I could not be happier to share my knowledge and love for physical therapy with my neighbors.”
