Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy has expanded its presence in Connecticut with a new location in Cromwell. Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy offers a comprehensive range of physical therapy services. With highly trained therapists to provide world-class care, the Cromwell team is committed to delivering personalized care close to home. Located at 6 Progress Drive, in Champions Ice Rink, this expansion reflects Ivy Rehab’s commitment to serving families close to home in Connecticut.
Bryan Baker, PT, DPT, serves as Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Cromwell facility.
“I’m excited to bring a decade of clinical experience in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, clinical leadership, and innovation to the Cromwell area,” stated Bryan. “We are proud to expand Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy in collaboration with Champion Ice Rink and are looking forward to providing exceptional physical therapy to the local community.”
After graduating from Springfield College, Bryan began his career in outpatient physical therapy, where he quickly developed a passion for working with active individuals and athletes. This early experience led him to pursue a career specializing in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. Outside of sports rehabilitation, Bryan has a passion for healthcare innovation, exploring the role of technology in healthcare, and clinical leadership.
Following completion of residency in 2022, Bryan moved to Washington, D.C., where he played a key leadership role in expanding MedStar Health’s sports rehabilitation services across the region. In 2023, Bryan was promoted to Regional Director, overseeing four outpatient facilities across the DMV while also serving as the lead physical therapist for Georgetown University Athletics.
In 2026, Bryan and his wife welcomed their second daughter and returned to Connecticut. He is excited to bring his experience in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, clinical leadership, and innovation to Ivy Rehab.
“Ivy Rehab in Cromwell, in partnership with Champion Ice Rink, is a groundbreaking development for Ivy Physical Therapy in Connecticut,” stated Austin Bronson. “I am thrilled to bring Bryan on board to enhance the way we support the athletic population and community, not just in Cromwell but across the state of Connecticut.”
