Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy in Decatur North, Illinois is now open! The clinic is located next to Target at 3785 N. Water Street. This second clinic in Decatur marks the opening of our 25th location in Illinois.
Zack Shaw, PT, DPT Cert. DN is serving as the Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Decatur North facility.
“I am very excited to expand the reach that Ivy Rehab has in Decatur and provide top-notch physical therapy to those on the northwest side of our community,” said Zack. “As a Decatur native, I can’t wait to give back to the community that I grew up in and help those in the area get back to moving and feeling their absolute best.”
Zack attended Bradley University for his Bachelor’s in Health Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy and then returned to work in Decatur at Ivy Rehab for the last 4 years.
He has a personalized approach to physical therapy treatment and takes the time to get to know each patient so that he is able to provide individualized, high-quality care to all patients to help them accomplish their goals. In his practice, Zack has focused on research-based treatments for orthopedic, post-surgical, temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD), running, and sports-related populations. He implements manual therapy techniques, spinal manipulation, dry needling, and progressive corrective exercises to provide a well-rounded treatment program and encourage lifelong fitness to everyone he encounters.
Zack and his wife, Dolores, are involved in the running and CrossFit communities here in Decatur and can usually be found drinking coffee around town every weekend.
