Ivy Rehab for Kids is excited to announce the opening of its newest pediatric therapy clinic in Shillington, Pennsylvania. This location provides comprehensive services, including pediatric speech, occupational, and physical therapy. Conveniently situated at 514 E Lancaster Avenue in Berks County, near the Department of Transportation Drivers License Center, the clinic was created to provide exceptional, child-centered care in a welcoming and engaging space. The Shillington team is eager to support children and families throughout Berks County and neighboring communities.
Serving as Clinic Director, Kristi Bassetti, MS, OTR/L, brings a wealth of expertise in pediatric therapy to the Shillington team.
“It’s a joy to provide my hometown with the high-quality care Ivy Rehab for Kids is known for,” shared Kristi. “I can’t wait to work with local children and families, empowering them to grow, succeed, and achieve their best.”
Kristi earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Alvernia College in 2008. Since then, she has embraced her career as an occupational therapist while becoming deeply involved in her local community. She has worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, early intervention programs, the local intermediate unit, and school-based therapy.
Throughout her career, Kristi has developed expertise in fine motor and visual motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and feeding abilities. Dedicated to excellence, she is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment and designing personalized treatment plans that support both patients and their families.
Outside of work, Kristi enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, taking trips to the beach, and exploring the outdoors.
