The Training Room, an Ivy Rehab Network partner, has expanded its presence in New Jersey with a new clinic in Deptford. The new facility is ready to welcome new patients and provides exceptional care with flexible hours and acceptance of most major insurance plans. The Training Room in Deptford, located at 1692 Clements Bridge Road, across from the Deptford Mall, exemplifies its dedication to bringing high-quality care close to home.
Dr. Alyssa Sorrentino, PT, DPT, leads the new Deptford clinic as Clinic Director and treating Physical Therapist.
“After spending the first five years of my career in Cherry Hill, it feels great to be back home,” shared Alyssa. “I look forward to serving the Deptford community and surrounding areas and am excited to help our athletes get back to sport.”
Alyssa currently resides in West Deptford, NJ. She received her B.S degree in Exercise Science in 2018 from the University of Delaware and went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2021. Alyssa finished her Orthopaedic Residency at Temple University in 2024 and is now an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
Alyssa has a passion for helping patients reach their potential and achieve personal goals through tailored rehabilitation, with a particular focus on sport-specific rehab to optimize performance. She has volunteered as a coach for WDHS girls lacrosse and trains goalies in the area.
In her free time, Alyssa can be found in a boutique fitness class, reading, or walking on the beach with her fiancé and dog, Lily.
