Courtney Barone, MS OTR/L, serves as the Clinic Director and Occupational Therapist at the new Mechanicsville Kids facility.

“I’m excited to have a clinic in the Mechanicsville area where I can act as a resource for families and collaborate with providers in the community,” said Courtney. “Providing high-quality therapy and supporting families to assist with their child’s growth and development is something I continue to strive for!”

Born and raised in Western New York, Courtney moved to the Richmond area in 2016 with her husband. She attended the University at Buffalo, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Science and Master’s in Occupational Therapy, all while being very involved in campus life. Throughout her years at UB, Courtney was a teacher’s assistant for several courses and a Resident Advisor.

With over five years of experience in the pediatric setting, including school-based and outpatient therapy, Courtney has developed an enthusiasm for working with children.
