Ivy Rehab for Kids has opened a new pediatric therapy clinic in Manassas Park, Virginia. The clinic offers specialized services in speech, occupational, and physical therapy. Located at 9110 Railroad Drive in Manassas Park, the facility is just down the street from Signal Hill Park and Osborn Park High School. This clinic and team are designed to provide high-quality care to children and families in a supportive and fun environment.
Jessica Schmidt, M.Ed., M.S., CCC-SLP, LCP, DIR-E, serves as Clinic Director, bringing extensive experience in pediatric speech therapy.
“Having spent the last eight years serving the northern Virginia community as a speech therapist, I am excited to bring Ivy Rehab for Kids to the Manassas Park community,” says Jessica. “My team and I look forward to supporting our patients and families in achieving their goals and living their best lives.”
Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University in 2012. She then received her Master of Education with an emphasis on Adapted Curriculum from George Mason University in 2015 and her Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology in 2017.
Jessica’s expertise encompasses augmentative and alternative communication, DIRFloortime, social communication, feeding therapy, and articulation. Dedicated to excellence, Jessica is passionate about crafting innovative, personalized treatment programs that facilitate optimal communication.
Outside of her professional life, Jessica cherishes family moments and loves spending time exploring northern Virginia.
