Maryellen Halloran, PT, DPT, OCS, ATC, FDN, serves as Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Durham facility.
“After working in physical therapy clinics around the triangle for the last nine years, I am thrilled to be able to open a clinic in my neighborhood,” said Maryellen. “I look forward to serving the growing Durham community and helping each patient achieve their goals and live life to the fullest.”
Maryellen earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science with a concentration in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Miami in 2013. She specializes in manual therapy, dry needling, and the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and vestibular conditions.
By combining evidence-based exercise, patient education, and lifestyle modifications, Maryellen helps patients reduce pain, restore function, and achieve lasting improvements in their overall well-being. She is committed to developing individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s unique needs, goals, and lifestyle, empowering them to achieve the highest possible quality of life.
Outside the clinic, Maryellen enjoys spending time with her husband, their three children, and their beloved puppy. Together, they love exploring everything their home state has to offer and cheering on the UNC Tar Heels.
