Ivy Rehab for Kids is proud to announce the opening of its newest clinic in the Manchester area of Richmond, Virginia. Located at 681 Hioaks Road, across from Chippenham Hospital, the new facility is designed to provide individualized physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to children of all ages. With this latest addition, Ivy Rehab for Kids continues its mission to make expert pediatric care more accessible for families throughout the region.
The Manchester clinic is led by Emily Tucker, OTR/L, a highly experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist and dedicated Clinic Director.
“I’m thrilled to be opening my second clinic in the Richmond area and expanding the opportunity to serve this community with the high-quality therapy services it deserves,” shared Emily. “Our team is passionate about helping children grow, thrive, and reach their full potential, and we look forward to supporting even more families here in Richmond.”
Emily has worked with Ivy Rehab for Kids for six years and is excited to serve the Richmond community with a holistic health practice. Emily started as an ABA tech in 2010 before graduating in 2013 with her Master’s in Occupational Therapy. She has nine years of experience as an Occupational Therapist with a strong background in feeding, self-regulation, and executive functioning skills.
She is passionate about providing collaborative care to her patients with a wrap-around approach to support parents, caregivers, and families with appropriate coaching for skill generalization. She is trained in the Zones of Regulation, SOS Approach to Feeding, and Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Interventions. She has experience working with a sensory informed approach and is a strengths-based therapist.
