What is Orthopedic Therapy?

I highly recommend ABC Pediatric for OT, PT and SPL. Their therapists are personally vested in my child's development and show with me what I need to do, in order to continue progress while at home. Our therapists also partner with vendors & insurance (orthotic & wheelchair) to ensure my daughter has the products she needs. I went to this clinic for knee pain stemming from running and biking and used New York's 30-day rule to get started quickly. They diagnosed me with PFPS and IT band issues and created a home therapy plan with a wide range of exercises. Scheduling was super convenient, and the staff was very responsive. After two months, I am on my way to being pain-free! Megan and Amelia were especially helpful—they listened to my concerns, provided valuable stretching and foam rolling tips, and helped me understand the muscle imbalances contributing to my pain. The environment was very comfortable, and their gym was spacious, so I never had to wait for equipment. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone in the area!

The rehab sessions with Rachel were very beneficial! After completing my therapy I finally feel back to normal. The entire experience was excellent. All of the staff were very kind and professional. The facility was very clean and inviting.
I can't recommend this practice enough! Jonathan Moshenberg is an excellent physical therapist. I was referred to him by my podiatrist for foot pain, but ended up staying to work on spinal issues (lower back and neck) as well. I'm happy to report that my foot, lower back, and neck are all showing significant improvement. PT is not an easy undertaking–some of it is very difficult–but I found myself looking forward to visits anyway because each one got me closer to my goals. Different techniques, including cupping and scraping, in additional to manual therapies and targeted stretches/strength training, helped me clear hurdles previous PT did not. The office is very clean and the entire staff is professional and kind. Visits never felt rushed. Thank you, Excel!

I've been meaning to leave this review for awhile. This place is absolutely wonderful. The staff is so friendly front to back that I couldn't recommend anyone else more for your needs. They helped our daughter heal with her broken leg even doing casting which helped calm her so much with the process and just worked with her every need. They are helping our son now with his OT needs and, much like his big sister did, he always looks forward to coming in. 100% recommend.

I came to Ivy Rehab for post op rehabilitation for hip arthroscopy back in December and I worked with Lauryn and Maria for 4 months. They were excellent in what they did! they kept me on target with the protocol. My surgeon was very pleased with the progress. I will also say the whole staff is very friendly. After the 4th month of PT I moved to Europe and was very concerned with properly transitioning my protocol to a new PT. Lauryn went above and beyond to make sure the transition goes smoothly and made sure to check in periodically on the progress. Ivy Rehab and the team deserve more than 5 stars! My recent experience at Excel Physical therapy in Westfield was excellent! The personal attention I received made all the difference in my recovery from a trapped nerve /neck issue . My Physical Therapist, Aaron, was outstanding and his commitment and dedication to successful outcomes for his patients was very evident as he helped me to not lose hope for improvement . He has an amazing knowledge of the human anatomy and he often explained how the muscles and nerves work together and provided me with so many "tools" that I could use at home and at work to aid my recovery and prevent further injury. In addition, Aaron's upbeat energy and sense of humor made coming to therapy something I looked forward to and will miss now that I have recovered! I have been working with Ross Baver on improving my balance. Ross did a careful assessment of my problem and over 8 sessions gave me a variety of exercises, constantly adding new and more challenging ones.
