Matthew Tammaro, PT, DPT, serves as Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Gilbertsville facility.
“I grew up not far from Gilbertsville, and I’m thrilled to finally have the opportunity to work as a physical therapist close to home,” said Matthew. “It’s incredibly rewarding to do what I love in a community that means so much to me. I’m excited to serve the people of Gilbertsville and help them reclaim their quality of life.”
Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Pre-Physical Therapy from Widener University, where he also went on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. His passion for physical therapy began in high school while playing baseball and basketball, sparking an interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation.
Dedicated to advancing his expertise, Matt has completed numerous continuing education courses, including Myofascial Release and Sports Injury Rehabilitation. His clinical interests include chronic pain, sports injuries, joint replacements, and post-operative rehabilitation, although he enjoys treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions.
