Ivy Rehab for Kids is excited to announce the opening of its new pediatric facility in Wilmington, Delaware. Offering a comprehensive range of pediatric speech, occupational, and physical therapy services, our highly trained therapists are dedicated to delivering exceptional care tailored to each child’s needs. Conveniently located at 405 Silverside Road near Bellevue State Park, this new facility expands our commitment to Wilmington and surrounding communities, joining our two existing Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy adult locations. Whether for children or adults, we proudly serve Wilmington families of all ages through our orthopedic and pediatric offices.
Katie Dodds, CScD, MOT, OTR/L, serves as the Clinic Director and Pediatric Occupational Therapist at the children’s facility in Wilmington.
“I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Wilmington and have so many fond memories of growing up here,” said Katie. “Partnering with Ivy Rehab for Kids to open an outpatient pediatric clinic in my hometown is both an exciting and rewarding opportunity. I’m thrilled to give back to the community that helped shape me into the woman I am today and to help expand access to therapy services for children and their families in the surrounding areas.”
Katie has been an occupational therapist for over six years and is passionate about her work. Known for her bubbly, energetic personality, she is deeply committed to helping children learn, grow, and thrive. While her expertise lies in sensory processing and integration, Katie continually seeks to expand her knowledge across all areas of occupational therapy through ongoing education and research. A natural people person, she loves building meaningful connections and learning from every experience.
Katie enjoys spending time with her family and friends outside of work, with the beach being her favorite place to unwind.
