Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy has expanded its presence in Delaware with a new clinic in the Christiana area of Wilmington. The new facility is ready to welcome new patients and provides exceptional care with flexible hours and acceptance of most major insurance plans. Ivy Rehab in Wilmington, located in the medical building behind Shell Gas Station at 2055 Limestone Road, exemplifies its dedication to bringing high-quality care close to home.
Mitch Thomas, PT, MS, serves as Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Wilmington facility.

Mitch earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Delaware and is published in the Journal of Organic Chemistry. He completed his Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Widener University in 2001, where he was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society for Academic Excellence.
Mitch has extensive manual therapy, pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, orthopedic, sports medicine, and geriatric physical therapy experience. He has received certifications for Performance Therapy and Training Specialist, Fitness Pain Free Specialist, Baseball Rehabilitation Specialist, SFMA – Selective Functional Movement Assessment, FMS – Functional Movement Screens, Sportsmetrics, Functional Capacity Evaluation provider for Worker’s Compensation cases, and recipient of awards for clinical excellence in Geriatric Rehabilitation. Mitch also has experience working with the LPGA Tour, Wilmington Blue Rocks, University of Delaware, Wilmington University, Delaware State University, and multiple high school athletic programs throughout the region.
