Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy is excited to announce the opening of its newest clinic in Salem, Virginia. Conveniently located at 1221 W. Main Street, in the West Gate Center, the Salem clinic offers personalized care in a welcoming environment, making it easy for patients to receive the support they need close to home. This new location reflects Ivy Rehab’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to expert care across Virginia.
Michael Eaton, DPT, PT, serves as Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Salem facility.
“Having worked in Salem for five years, I’m thrilled to return to a community rich in tradition and culture, values I’ve always admired and will continue to uphold,” shared Michael. “I look forward to serving the area once again and supporting the Spartans, Highlanders, and Maroons with pride.”
Michael graduated from the University of Louisville in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in 2018.
Michael brings a strong background in sports medicine and general orthopedics and is passionate about continuing his development as an elite sports therapist. He is also committed to expanding Ivy’s presence in the greater Roanoke/Salem area.
Outside of the clinic, Michael enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies include disc golf, hiking, exploring national parks, playing recreational sports, participating in trivia nights, and attending comic-cons.
