Ivy Rehab for Kids is now open in Roanoke, Virginia. Ivy Rehab for Kids provides a wide range of pediatric speech, occupational, and physical therapy services with highly trained therapists to provide world-class care. Conveniently located at 4208-11 Franklin Road, in Hunting Hills Plaza, next to PetSmart and Kohls, this new facility expands our commitment to the Roanoke community, joining our existing Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy location. Whether children or adults, Ivy Rehab proudly serves Roanoke families of all ages with the new orthopedic and pediatric offices.
Regional Director Alyssa Gupta said, “We are excited to serve the community of Roanoke. We are passionate about pediatric therapy and offer multiple services that will allow comprehensive care for children with disabilities or acute needs, which will best meet the needs of families under one roof.”
Krista Beheler, OTR/L, serves as the Clinic Director and Pediatric Occupational Therapist at the kids’ facility in Roanoke.
“Having spent my whole life in the Roanoke area, I see the need for additional pediatric therapy services to provide quality care and opportunities to our children, promoting their confidence and optimal growth and development,” said Krista. “I am so excited to join this team and open a pediatric therapy clinic to help serve the children in our community to thrive and be their very best selves.”
With nearly 25 years of experience, Krista brings a wealth of knowledge to Ivy Rehab for Kids. She has held key leadership roles throughout her career and understands the importance of teamwork and dedication. She is passionate about working with children and finds their energy, imagination, and creativity heartwarming and life-enriching.
Krista’s expertise allows her to provide targeted interventions to help children overcome various challenges, including difficulties with feeding, positioning, sensory integration, motor coordination, behavior, and self-regulation.
Outside of work, Krista cherishes time with her family, has a strong love for animals, and enjoys baking, art, health and wellness, and spending time outdoors.
