Robert Persico, PT, DPT, serves as Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at the new Newark facility.

Rob earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Rutgers University in 2018 and completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, magna cum laude, from Stony Brook University in 2022. Recognized for his clinical excellence, he was named a Top Outcome Provider by Ivy Rehab in 2024.
Rob’s continuing education has focused on advanced manual therapy techniques for the spine, hips, knees, and ankles. In 2025, he completed all requirements to become a Hospital for Special Surgery Credentialed Advanced Hip Clinician. He is also trained in treating temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, which helps patients manage jaw pain and improve function. With extensive experience in sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation, Rob is dedicated to helping patients regain function, improve performance, and return to the activities they love. He takes a personalized, evidence-based approach to ensure the best outcomes for every patient.
Outside the clinic, Rob enjoys weightlifting, has a lifelong passion for soccer, and is an avid music enthusiast. Most importantly, he cherishes spending quality time with his wife and family.
