Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy is now open on Broad Street in Philadelphia, PA. The clinic is conveniently located in the Constitution Health Plaza at 1930 S Broad Street. The office accepts new patients and most insurance plans, including Medicaid, Medicare, and worker’s compensation. The clinic also offers transportation and convenient hours. The Broad Street clinic joins the existing Ivy Rehab Network brands in Pennsylvania, including Progress Physical Therapy, Excel Physical Therapy, The Physical Therapy & Wellness Institute, and Wallace & Nilan Physical Therapy.

Luisa Aggio, OTR/L, CHT and Jeff Vaisberg DPT, PT, Cert. MDT, DN, SFMA, CWC serve as Clinic Directors at the new Broad Street – Philadelphia facility.  

Luisa Aggio has been practicing Occupational Therapy for almost ten years and has been a Certified Hand Therapist for four years. She has worked in hand therapy since graduating from Thomas Jefferson University in Occupational Therapy. Luisa is the director of the Hand Residency Program through Ivy Rehab, creating the curriculum and leading courses to provide support and education within the specialized field of hand therapy.  

Luisa comes from a very international background, originally from Brazil and moving to the US in 1996. Luisa speaks fluent English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Previously, Luisa has lived in South Philly for many years and is excited to return to the neighborhood!  

Jeffrey grew up in Bucks County, where his family immigrated from Ukraine. He graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Kinesiology degrees from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has spent most of his career in Philadelphia treating a wide range of patients, from Olympic and high-level athletes to people suffering from chronic pain, spine and radicular/sciatic pain, orthopedic, and those who have been in a motor vehicle accident or work-related accident.   

Jeffrey is a board-certified Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy practitioner and an orthopedic manual-based therapist with certifications in dry needling, instrument assistive soft tissue mobilization, clinical athlete weightlifting coaching, and selective function movement assessment.    

In his spare time, when not playing with his two young children, Jeff practices Muay Thai and HIIT training. He enjoys treating both communities very much, understanding the desire and physical requirements to continue participating in high-level training.
